THE IYENGAR YOGA METHOD
The Iyengar method develops strength, endurance and optimal body alignment, as well as flexibility and relaxation. The Iyengar method develops self-awareness, intelligent evaluation and deep inner reflection. Attention to detail and cultivation of awareness aim not only to maintain physical safety in practice, but to develop the mental benefits of full meditation in action. No two classes are ever exactly alike. The variation in the sequence of Iyengar classes is influenced by the level and condition of the student, the time of day, the time of year and many other factors.
